Mary-Beth King started dancing at Next Step Dance at the age of 7 for the competition cheer dance team.  As the years went on she began training and performing in various styles competitively till college.  Mary-Beth minored in dance at Western Carolina and was a part of the WCU Dance Team who went to NDA Nationals.  For the last 10 years Mary-Beth has taught at several different studios and students ranging from 2-18 years old.  Along with teaching Mary-Beth has been a Charlotte Checkers Checkmate, performed at Breakin’ Convention, high profile flash mobs, Best of the Best Awards, CIAA, and back up danced for several music artist.  “I can’t teach passion, but I can share mine.”  As a teacher she strives to inspire her students to reach their full potential and push themselves to be the best dancer they can be.
